This is a story that no one ever thinks could happen to their families, to their babies. But it did.

On January 26, 1988, two couples arrived at Grafton Hospital. They’d been preparing for nine months and were ready to welcome their newborns.  By the end of that day, each family had welcomed baby boys. Everyone was healthy and happy. Both families felt joy, happiness and thankfulness.

There were only two babies born in the Grafton Hospital that day.

A few days later, the families left the hospital, excited to start new lives with their young sons.

But 36 years later, they learned something no one ever wants to hear. Their babies had been Switched at Birth. The newborns had gone home with the wrong parents. Grafton Hospital had made a terrible mistake.

Now, these two men and their families have had lifelong memories and relationships turned upside down. It’s not a pleasant story. Watch the video and hear from the two boys who were Switched at Birth.
